ŞAHİN ÇETİN

Şahin (1985-Ankara) graduated from Gazi University Fine Arts Faculty Painting Department in 2011. The focal point of his practice is the visual repertoire accumulated by phenomena such as social-political memory, identity-city-belonging. The transformation of the geography he lived in, the questioning of his socio-political affiliations and nationalities pushed the artist to forms of struggle against. The artist includes this redefined question of 'geography', a versatile art practice such as video, photography, drawing, canvas painting and sculpture, as well as fictions and political references in the series.
